Boston, MA – June 27, 2022- Timothy (Tim) J. Hurst has been appointed Vice President, Relationship Manager, for Rockland Trust’s Boston Commercial Banking Team.
Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Tim spent 15 years at Citizens Bank in Boston as Vice President, Portfolio Manager of Commercial Real Estate Financing, where he worked with a variety of institutional and middle market sponsors, on a national level, and across all property types. Prior to Citizens, he spent five years at Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) as AVP of Commercial Real Estate Finance in Houston, Texas.

Tim earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management from Rice University. Prior to that, he double majored at Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics with Finance Applications and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies.
In his free time, Tim volunteers at Citylife Presbyterian Church in Boston where he has held various officer positions as well as served on the Board of Elders. He is also a soccer coach for Bay Area Youth Soccer and a Baseball coach for Hill House. Tim lives with his family in Boston, where they spend their time playing tennis and biking.
