Joe is the Regional Executive for Rockland Trust’s Security and Life Safety Lending business. Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Joe worked at BDC Capital in a variety of lending roles. Joe is very active in the finance community, currently serving as President of the Secured Finance Network of New England, past President and Director of the New England Chapter of the Risk Management Association, and Director of the Northeast Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. Joe is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute, and the CFA Society Boston.
A graduate of Bentley University, Joe resides in Boston’s Financial District with his wife and two daughters. Joe is also a long-time supporter of, and volunteer at, For Kids Only Afterschool, a local nonprofit that provides educational and learning opportunities for children in underserved communities.
Spencer is responsible for originating new relationships, as well as underwriting and managing a growing portfolio of existing clients within the Security and Life Safety Industry. Prior to Rockland Trust, Spencer spent over a decade with Citizen’s Bank in a variety of roles, most recently as Vice President, Relationship Manager in the New England Core Middle Market and Security Finance Teams. Spencer’s commercial experience includes sourcing and structuring a wide range of deals both in the middle market and mid-corporate spaces. In addition, he has 8+ years working in the specialty, recurring revenue business model lending team. Spencer graduated from Bryant University and resides in Scituate, MA with his wife and two daughters.
