The Rockland Trust Pride Alliance group
Rockland Trust has a longstanding commitment to equity and inclusion. In fact, we have continually achieved 100% in the HRC Corporate Equality Index for the past eight years.
Pride Alliance is a Rockland Trust Employee Resource Group (ERG) which is focused on two main initiatives. The first is providing support and a voice to our LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies. The second is providing education to colleagues on LGBTQ+ related topics.
Pride Alliance was started at the Bank in 2015. Since that time, we’ve been able to:
- Institute monthly meetings with colleagues to ensure we were able to provide support and continually advance LGBTQ+ awareness throughout the Bank
- Institute Pride celebrations each June in branches and throughout the Bank’s footprint to show our support of the LGBTQ+ community
- Create partnerships with organizations such as GLAD, Fenway Community Health Center, and Greater Boston PFLAG
We are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can be themselves.
