BROCKTON, MA – March 5, 2025 - A world of flavor awaits in the City of Champions. At Signature Kitchen, locals and visitors alike can experience the rich and vibrant flavors of Haitian cuisine. Originally opened in 2018 by co-owners Genald and Marline Amedeé, the beloved restaurant recently celebrated a new chapter, relocating to 768 Belmont Street with the support of a Small Business Administration (SBA) loan from Rockland Trust.
Since its opening, Signature Kitchen has been more than just a restaurant—it has become a staple in the Brockton community. As demand grew, the Amedee family expanded their business beyond the restaurant’s walls, securing government contracts to provide school lunches across Massachusetts. This success created the need for a larger space to support their growing operations. While searching for the right location, the Amedeés connected with the South Eastern Economic Development Corporation (SEED) to explore financing options that could help bring their vision to life.

"Our relationship with Rockland Trust and Lisa has been instrumental in pursuing our vision, and we are excited to welcome community members to experience our cuisine."
Lisa Sliney Vice president Business Banking Officer worked with SEED. With Lisa’s guidance, they secured an SBA 504 loan for $425,000 to purchase their new location on Belmont Street Brockton, allowing them to better serve their loyal customers in a more spacious and welcoming environment.

With this new location, Signature Kitchen remains dedicated to bringing authentic Haitian flavors to Brockton while expanding its reach across the region.
