Richard Muraida Promoted to Director of Commercial Real Estate Banking at Rockland Trust

Boston, MA – November 26, 2024 - Rockland Trust is pleased to announce that Richard (Rick) Muraida has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Director of Commercial Real Estate Banking. In this newly created role, Muraida will be responsible for overseeing the Bank’s institutional non-owner-occupied investment real estate activities while continuing to manage Rockland Trust’s Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) business.

Muraida joined Rockland Trust in 2013 as a commercial banker, and since that time, his leadership and expertise with the Boston area teams have played a pivotal role in the successful development of the Greater Boston market. For the past seven years he served as a Senior Vice President, and Regional Executive for the Boston Commercial Banking Team and LIHTC.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Muraida is actively engaged in the Greater Boston community. He currently serves on the Board of the Metro Housing Boston and is the Vice Chairman of the Board for the Community Economic Development Assistance Corp in Boston and is a Board Member of the Downtown Boston Alliance and the Boston Municipal Research Bureau. In addition, a member of the Board of Advisors for the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
