James (Jay) Donnelly is a Vice President and Financial Consultant, and has been with Rockland Trust since 2019. Jay is responsible for evaluating client needs and goals to develop customized, long-term solutions to help build and protect their wealth.
Jay has worked in the financial services industry since 2009. Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Jay was an Investment Officer at Boston College’s Endowment Office. He also held positions at Wells Fargo Securities and FTN Equity Capital Markets as an Equity Analyst. Jay earned his CPA at Arthur Andersen, LLP and spent time as CFO for Koning Restaurants International and eventually owner/operator of the Pacific Restaurant Group. Jay received his BS in Accounting from Boston College and an MBA from the College’s Carroll School of Management.
Jay serves on the Board of Overseers at Franciscan Children’s Hospital as well as the Board of Governors at Marshfield Country Club. Prior to this, Jay volunteered for four years working with children in the Pediatric Oncology unit at Mass General Hospital. In his spare time, Jay can often be found golfing or attending one of his nieces or nephews games. Jay resides in Newton.
